Kylie Jenner’s fashion line, Khy, may have only launched on November 1, but her day-old sartorial baby is already being honored.
Jenner attended the WSJ. Magazine Innovators Awards ceremony in New York City Wednesday evening, the same day her line launched with its first micro-collection. She was honored as an innovator in the brand space.
“I’ve always loved beauty and fashion,” she said in her brief acceptance speech. “And to be recognized for the success of the brands I’ve built and my new Khy, which launched today, is so special.”
She attended the event in a custom espresso-colored gown from Ferragamo, accompanied by rumored beau Timothée Chalamet, who presented the evening’s film innovator award to director Martin Scorsese. The duo did not walk the awards ceremony’s red carpet together, but were seated next to one another. According to eyewitness reports, they—gasp!—laughed together during the event.
She and Chalamet have been linked since April, but were not spotted together until they attended a Los Angeles date of Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour together, where they did not follow Bey’s request that attendees dress in silver for her birthday month, but did canoodle.
Jenner’s new line has already seen its first items sell out: She posted on her Instagram Wednesday that a trench coat and minidress had been so popular that they were already out of stock.
In an interview with WSJ in late October, she didn’t speak directly about Chalamet, but coyly said of Dune, the 2021 sci-fi adaptation where Chalamet stars as a banished space prince (who among us), “I do love that movie.”
Representatives for Kylie Jenner did not immediately return requests for comment.
